More Social Media Greatness

nce you have your facebook account you’re obliged to post or share pictures right?I mean if you don’t care about your friends flooding your photo albums with pictures that they have of you where you look awful then you’re not. Otherwise you are. So let’s get things started.

I for one post tons of photos for my facebook photo album. These don’t really need myself to be in them. As long as it looks exciting or appealing to me at the least I, post away. Personally I’m not a fan of photos (if you’re not photogenic and you don’t look good in photos believe me you wont be a fan of it as well)but I do like pictures. Now how do we post photos?I’m sure everyone already know how but that’s not exactly what I’m going to talk about. I want to tell you guys about how we can effectively share photos that would define and eccentuate the overall appearance of our facebook page. First of all why do we need photos on our page?Well I think it is to become famous. Famous among your friends that is(they can be friends in facebook or real life friends that also happen to be your acquaintances or “friends” in facebook). Having a great facebook photo is like having a good advertisement for your product. We advertise our product just as much as we would want others to know what we did in this certain beach, mall, or some place else. Or just to flaunt our looks wearing our new clothing, shoes, accessories or even our ink(that would be tattoo). So why would anyone other than those we know take interest in our photos. In my opinion the more people to view our page the better. Because it is what it is social networking. I know you guys think the same. The more we can flaunt how beautiful we are in our facebook page, the better.

More On Social Media

I’ve been using facebook for quite a time now and I must say I’ve been doing quite a lot with it lately. I mean with all the applications you can use I barely have time sipping from my cup of coffee. Where do I even begin? Now I think I want to talk about an application that a lot of us at one point or another have used.

How about Pet Society?Does this ring a bell?Well using it only requires us to make our own virtual pet and customizing them. You can make your pet decide how they will look like. We can change their color depending on our mood, their eyes, ears, nose, almost any physical aspect of our virtual pet we can modify as long as the graphics would permit. After making your pet you get to have a house and a community of pets made up of different pets of different users that you are in a connection with. There are shops where you can and will buy simple necessities such as food(the main food groups in pet society are sweets, pizzas, and burgers; at least that’s how I see it), hygiene, clothing etc. And shops where you can buy appliances, to house decorations, to toys, and face masks and almost everything actually. This application kind of works like how Tamagotchi pets worked way back 1990s. I don’t know about you guys but I was able to have a go at this little maniac then. You can get enjoy having a pet in the comfort of your desktop with pet society. This application is really just an eye candy though where if you like cute cuddly mushy stuff then most probably you will develop a liking to it. Of course we not only get the entertainment and relaxation(yeah yeah I know. Relaxation?) from our pets we also get responsibilities. Read the rest of this entry »

Social Media And FaceBook

April 16th, 2010

Everybody knows about facebook nowadays. Millions of people have their facebook accounts and I swear they’re multiplying every minute. I started getting hooked about a year ago and I never looked back. I was just a casual user at first(well everyone is), browsing through the pages of Facebook, looking for friends, posting(oh i’m sorry that would be sharing for facebook users) irrelevant words, quotes and the like in my wall, Sharing photos tagging along friends while in the heat of it, anyway you get the point. So everyone start out small but most if not all finish or get big with facebook. I mean everyday I discover new things that I can do with my facebook account. And that’s when you start getting addicted to it. Once you decipher and realize the power of this social networking site it is then that you will use it more and more and yes, even more. From sharing “How I feel today” in your wall to customizing your profile photos to using the now renowned facebook chat to using the infamous ufacebook applications(these may be games, quizzes, or simply just annoying reminders to your account). The things you can do are just endless. Or putting it simply they’re just real plenty(Hey I didn’t mean for that to rhyme but it sounds good so there you go). And it doesn’t even end there. That’s only my perspective, an average user. We can even use this “Facebook” as an advertisement for numerous things. Others see it as a tool for hacking(can’t say I didn’t see that) Heck even country’s presidents and two year olds have their facebook accounts. I even have a friend whose stuffed bear has his or rather its account in facebook! Now having an idea on how much we can do and how far we can go in Facebook you’ll have to ask yourself. How much am I tapping in the full potential of this gigantic networking site? How much more can I use it?And that’s just where you begin realizing its potential.
